Seattle Condo Sale Prices Up 48%

Downtown condos are a hot commodity. From January 2016 to January 2017 downtown condos increased nearly 48% in price!

The price increase hasn't slowed the market. Sales of downtown condos are up 11% with a median sales price of $668,000. Basically, buying a downtown condo is not that far off from buying a single-family home.

The high average is probably screwed slightly by a few condos selling near the Million dollar market. In fact, 33 condos in Seattle priced at more than $2 million dollars were sold last year.

With affordability of downtown condos becoming more and more of an issue, the value of rental properties for property owners continues to rise. It's a hot market with an even hotter future!
