Overseas buyers, particularly from China, are targeting the Seattle market. In fact, according to province.com, Seattle is the number 1 destination for Chinese buyers. Vancouver previously held the top spot, but recent taxes on foreign buyers and higher real estate prices have driven buyers south of the border... to Seattle.

Some experts are predicting that investors who previously bought into Vancouver will soon sell and reinvest in Seattle.
